Grass Slope Stabilization Initiative in Nilgiris
Recently, the Tamil Nadu state highways department has initiated a project to stabilize slopes along major roads using grass cultivation to combat soil erosion, targeting five vulnerable locations in Nilgiri that are prone to landslips.
