11 Years of Jan Suraksha Schemes

  • On 9th May 2026, the Government’s flagship Jan Suraksha schemesPradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) completed 11 years since their launch in 2015.

1. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)

  • PMJJBY is a one-year cover, renewable from year to year.
  • The scheme is offered / administered through LIC and other Life Insurance companies willing to offer the product on similar terms with necessary approvals and tie ups with Banks / Post office for this purpose.
  • All Individual bank/ Post office account holders of the participating banks/ Post ....
