Agriculture Export Policy-2018
- The new Agriculture Export Policy aims at doubling farmer’s income by 2022 anddoubling agricultural exports from present USD 30+ Billion to USD 60+ Billion by 2022 and reach USD 100 Billion in the next few years thereafter and integrating Indian farmers and agricultural products with the global value chains.
- It aims to diversify our export basket, destinations and boost high value and value added agricultural exports including focus on perishables.
- It also aims to promote novel, indigenous, organic, ethnic, traditional and non-traditional Agri products exports.
