Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana, 2015 (PMSBY), Ministry of Finance

Objective

A social security scheme which aims to offer a one-year accidental death and disability cover. The scheme can be renewed annually.

Eligibility

Available to savings bank account holders in the age group of 18 to 70 years, also available to NRIs but the claim benefit will only be paid in INR. Also, there should be consent of auto-debit for the account.

Coverage

The risk coverage available is of Rs. 2 lakh for accidental death and permanent total disability and Rs. 1 lakh for permanent partial disability. The premium for the ....
