Colombo Security Conclave Meeting
On 9th and 10th March, 2022, the fifth meeting of National Security Advisers of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) was held in the Maldives. The Member States agreed on a roadmap for cooperation and collaboration that will “facilitate robust mechanisms for coordinated responses, capacity building and strengthening information flow.
About Colombo Security Conclave
The CSC was formed in 2011 as a trilateral maritime security grouping of India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The group welcomed Mauritius as the fourth member in the latest (fifth) meeting. Bangladesh and Seychelles attended as observers, and have been invited to join the group.
