Tamil Nadu Kasanoi Erappila Thittam (TB Death-free Project)

  • It was launched in April 2022 in 2,500 public healthcare facilities that diagnosed TB in 30 districts.
  • It is based on the guidelines ‘Differentiated TB Care’ that assesses whether people with TB need ambulatory care in a health facility to manage illness during diagnosis.
  • Assessment is done on the basis of 16 parameters.
