PM-MITRA Scheme
Recently foundation stones were laid for two mega textile parks in Amravati (Maharashtra) and Navsari (Gujarat) under the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme.
- Launched in 2021, the PM MITRA scheme aims to bolster the Indian textile industry by consolidating the entire value chain in one location, reducing logistics costs, and spurring investment, employment, and exports.
- Inspired by the PM's 5F vision, it seeks to foster an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and enhance India's global textile presence.
