Russia to Supply and License Igla-S Missiles to India
On 14th November, 2023, Russia announced a deal to deliver Igla-S anti-aircraft missiles to India and facilitate domestic production under license. It marks a significant milestone in the two nations' defence collaboration.
- The Igla-S is a man-portable air defence system (MANPADS), capable of being deployed by an individual or a crew to target and bring down enemy aircraft.
