On June 25, 2024, the IMF released the Artificial Intelligence Preparedness Index (AIPI) Dashboard, ranking 174 countries based on digital infrastructure, human capital, innovation, and regulation.

  • India’s Rank: 72nd
  • China: 31st (0.63 index score).
  • Sri Lanka: 92nd (0.43 index score).
  • Bangladesh: 113th (0.38 index score).
