Corruption Perceptions Index, 2024
The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2024, released on February 11, 2025 by Transparency International, reveals that corruption remains a global challenge.
- The CPI ranks 180 countries on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
- The global average score remains stagnant at 43.
- Top 3 Least Corrupt Countries are Denmark (1st) followed by Finland and Singapore.
- World's Most Corrupt Countries: South Sudan (180), Somalia (179) and Venezuela (178)
- India ranks 96th out of 180 countries (tie with Maldives), with a CPI score of 38 in 2024, down from 39 in 2023.
