Next Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV)
On September 18, 2024, the Union Cabinet approved the development of the Next Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV), which will play a key role in India’s future space missions.
About NGLV
- Enhanced Payload Capability: 3 times the current limit.
- Reusability: Reducing costs through a reusable first stage.
- Payload Capacity: 30 tonnes to Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
- Development Timeline: Three test flights (D1, D2, D3) over 8 years.
- Total Budget: Rs. 8240 ....
