Rhumi-1: India’s First Reusable Hybrid Rocket

On August 24, 2024, India launched Rhumi-1, the country’s first reusable hybrid rocket, from Thiruvidanthai, Chennai.

    • Three Cube Satellites for atmospheric data collection.
    • 50 Pico Satellites, each studying different atmospheric aspects.

    • Dr. Anand Megalingam, Founder & CEO, Space Zone India.
  • Educational Outreach:
    • Partnered with Edutech4space to teach students about rocket science.
