Successful Test of Agni Prime

On April 3, 2024, India conducted a successful flight test of the Agni Prime ballistic missile, reinforcing its strategic deterrence capabilities.

  • Conducted By: Strategic Forces Command (SFC) and DRDO.
  • Launch Site: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha.
  • First Tested: June 2021.
  • Range: 1,000 km to 2,000 km.

  • Canisterized missile, capable of being launched from road or rail platforms.
