Ramsar Convention COP-15
- The 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the Ramsar Convention was held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, from 23 to 31 July 2025.
- The Ramsar Convention on Wetlands is an international treaty that aims to promote the conservation and wise use of wetlands through national action and international cooperation. Its central idea is that wetlands are ecological assets and must be used sustainably, not exploited destructively.
- The theme of COP15 was “Protecting Wetlands for Our Common Future.”
