eBkray – Common e-auction platform
- Finance Ministry launched an online platform ‘eBkray’, to provide details of mortgaged properties to be auctioned online by Banks, starting with Public Sector banks (PSBs).
- Buyers can use Indian Banks Auctions Mortgaged Properties Information (IBAPI) portal to search and get properties details and participate in the auction process. Presently 21 banks are onboard on this portal.
- It aims to enable e-auction of assets attached by the banks transparently and cleanly for improved realization of value.
- The platform is equipped with property search features and navigational links to all PSB e-auction sites and provides single-window access to information on properties up for e-auction.
