Smog Tower Project
- The Supreme Court on December 17th, granted three months’ time to the Centre and Delhi government to set up the first smog tower in the capital as part of measures to deal with air pollution. The first tower will be set up in Connaught Place.
- Smog towers are structures designed as large-scale air purifiers to reduce air pollution particles. It is a giant structure fitted with multiple layers of filters that cleans the air that passes through it.
