The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) was held in Seville, Spain, from 30th June to 3rd July 2025. It brought sovereign debt to the forefront as one of the most urgent issues affecting global development.
The Sevilla Commitment
- The Sevilla Commitment is a comprehensive framework adopted at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4).
- It aims to close the USD 4 trillion annual financing gap for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in developing countries.
