Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia Policy

On 17th February, 2022, the Ministry of Power notified the Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia Policy for production of green hydrogen or green ammonia using renewable sources of energy.

  • The policy has been notified as part of the government’s efforts to facilitate the transition from fossil fuel / fossil fuel based feed stocks to green hydrogen / green ammonia.
