Kerala Nativity Card Bill

On 18th February 2026, the Kerala Cabinet approved the Kerala Nativity Card Bill to introduce a Nativity Card based on the existing Nativity Certificate issued by the state.

  • The Nativity Card will function as an authoritative document for availing various Kerala government services and social purposes.
  • The Tahsildar will be the competent authority to issue the card, while village offices will maintain official registers.
  • Applicants must submit prescribed applications along with required documents and applicable fees.
