Sharda Riverfront Project – Champawat

On 7th February 2026, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone of the Sharda river corridor at Tanakpur in Champawat district.

  • This marks the start of a major plan to develop infrastructure and promote tourism in the region.
  • He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several other projects.
