RTI at 20: Milestones, Challenges and the Road Ahead
On 12th October 2025, the Right to Information (RTI) Act completed twenty years of its enactment.
- The Act empowers every Indian citizen to seek information from public authorities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and participatory democracy.

Exposing Corruption
- Citizens and activists have used it to uncover high-profile corruption cases such as the 2G Spectrum Scam (2008), the Commonwealth Games Scam (2010), and the Adarsh Housing Society Scam (2010).
