Crop Monitoring with AI Drones
Artificial Intelligence is being used in modern agricultural technique using drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, UAVs) to monitor crop condition, health, and productivity. This technology plays a key role in improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing environmental sustainability.
Mechanism
- Sensors and Cameras: Drones are equipped with multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, and high-resolution cameras that capture images and data from crops.
- Data Analysis: These drones analyze crop health, soil moisture, pest and disease outbreaks, and weed presence. With Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GPS, they deliver precise information.
- Applications: Beyond monitoring, drones assist in seeding, pesticide/fertilizer spraying, and irrigation management.
Benefits
- Precision Monitoring: Drones can detect ....
