Snake Robot
A Snake Robot is a flexible, snake-like robot specifically designed for disaster management and rescue missions. Its structure and mobility allow it to easily enter narrow, debris-filled, and hazardous areas where traditional rescue tools or humans cannot reach.
Role of Snake Robot in Rescue Missions
- Searching for Trapped Individuals: After an earthquake, the snake robot can enter the rubble of collapsed buildings and, using cameras, sensors, and other tools, send information about the location and condition of trapped individuals. This helps the rescue team get precise data on how many people are trapped and where.
