Expansion of e-NAM Platform
On 6th February 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare decided to expand the scope of trade under the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM), further enhancing the opportunities for farmers and traders.
Highlights
- Focus: The initiative focuses on increasing the coverage of agricultural commodities and offering more opportunities to farmers and traders to engage with the digital platform.
- Agricultural Commodities: The Directorate of Marketing and Inspection (DMI) has formulated tradable parameters for 10 additional agricultural commodities.
- Total Commodities: The total number of commodities available on the e-NAM platform now reaches 231, with the inclusion of 10 new commodities. The 10 new commodities ....
