The full moon day i.e. Purnima Tithi in the month of Jyeshtha is considered to be the birth anniversary of Lord Jagannath.
- Deva Snana Purnima is a significant ritual just prior to the world renowned Rath Yatra of the Jagannath Temple, in Puri.
