Pulses are grown in all three seasons: kharif, rabi, and summer. Those grown during Kharif include pigeonpea, green gram, black gram, and minor pulses (moth bean, rajmash, horse gram, etc.).

  • India’s Average Pulse Yield: India’s average pulse yield is 0.740t/ha; which is below the global average of 0.969t/ha.
