India Inclusive Summit
- On 15th May 2025, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) organised the Inclusive India Summit, to mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).
- It was organised in collaboration with the SBI Foundation and the National Association for the Blind, New Delhi.
- The summit highlighted the Government of India’s commitment to inclusive technology and public services for all, including persons suffering from disability/impairment (called Divyang in India).
- The Department released the annual Accessibility Report Card, detailing the current accessibility status across the country.
