Pushkaralu Festival
The 12-day Pushkaralu festival of Telugu-speaking people took place in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh during 22nd April to 3rd May 2023.
- This year’s festival involved worshipping ancestors and the River Ganga and organised in Kashi after a gap of 12 years.
About Pushkaralu Festival
- Pushkaram is an Indian festival dedicated to worshiping of 12 sacred rivers.
- It is also known as Pushkaralu (in Telugu), Pushkara (in Kannada) or Pushkar.
- The celebration happens annually, once in 12 years along each river.
