- The lotus petals shaped pages symbolize IHRC's resilience as the central institution for preserving historical records.
- The Sarnath pillar at the center embodies India's illustrious past.
- The choice of brown as the predominant color theme reinforces the organization's mission of safeguarding, studying, and honoring India's historical legacy.
