Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis
- Recently, a new research has identified a Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis (CPA) in tuberculosis survivors among Assam’s tea plantation workers.
- CPA is a severe lung infection caused by Aspergillus fumigatus, a fungus that predominantly strikes individuals with immunodeficiency or pre-existing lung conditions, particularly those with a history of TB.
