US Withdraws from WHO
On 20th January 2025, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO), citing concerns over the agency’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, lack of reforms, and financial burden on the US.
