Kamba Ramayana Parayanam
On 18th March 2025, the Ministry of Culture inaugurated the Kamba Ramayana Parayanam in SriRangam, Tamil Nadu.
- The South Zone Cultural Centre, Thanjavur, under Union Ministry of Culture is coming forward with a support system for the sustenance and propagation of the Kamba Ramayana tradition of Tamil Nadu.
What is Kamba Ramayana?
Tamil Rendition
- Also known as Ramavataram, it is a Tamil rendition of the Sanskrit Valmiki Ramayana.
- It stands out for its poetic brilliance and spiritual insights deeply rooted in Tamil culture.
Authorship and Patronage
