India, Ghana Upgrade Ties to Comprehensive Partnership
On 2nd July 2025, India and Ghana elevated their bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Partnership during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to Accra — the first by an Indian Prime Minister in more than 30 years.
- •Indian Prime Minister was also awarded Ghana’s highest civilian honour, ‘The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana’.
