Climate Induced Migration: A Multidimensional Challenge Requiring Global Action

Recently, as per the Global Report on Internal Displacement 2025, nearly 45.8 million climate induced migration was recorded across 163 countries and territories in 2024, the highest figure since Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) started to monitor the phenomenon in 2008.
