Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill, 2024

On 28th March 2025, Lok Sabha passed the Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill, 2024, replacing the nearly 100-year-old Indian Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, 1925, to simplify maritime laws and align them with global standards.
