Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025
On 5th April 2025, President gave her assent to the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025, seeking to amend the Waqf Act, 1995.
- The President also gave assent to the the Mussalman Wakf (Repeal) Bill, 2025 which seeks to remove the outdated Mussalman Wakf Act, 1923,
