- Under the 'State Support Mission' (SSM), NITI Aayog has promoted the establishment of 'State Institutions for Transformation' (SIT) for evidence-based policymaking in states like Maharashtra, Tripura, and Gujarat (GRIT).
- The 'Aspirational Districts Programme' (ADP) focuses on measuring 'Outcomes' rather than just expenditure, based on 3Cs—Convergence, Collaboration, and Competition—across 112 backward districts housing 16% of the population.
