NIIST Indigenously Develops LTCC Tapes and HTCC Substrates
Recently, scientists at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST) have indigenously developed toxic-free and superior multilayer series of Low-Temperature Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) tapes and High-Temperature Cofired Ceramic (HTCC) substrates which are on par with international standards.
LTCC Tapes and HTCC Substrates: The Technology
- Dielectric Properties: The tapes and substrates have dielectric properties or the ability of storing electric energy in an electric field that are comparable to the commercial tapes, with thermal conductivity better than the commercial ones.
