Project Waterworth
On 15th February 2025, Facebook owner Meta announced Project Waterworth, an ambitious plan to build a 50,000 km-long undersea cable network, surpassing Earth's circumference, to enhance global connectivity and AI development.
- Project Waterworth will connect five major continents, including countries such as the US, India, Brazil, and South Africa, providing high-speed digital infrastructure.
