Priyadarshini Scheme
On 10th June 2026, the Kerala Cabinet approved the implementation of the Priyadarshini Scheme, providing free bus travel for women and transgender persons in Kerala.
- It will be applicable on ordinary services operated by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation during the first phase.
- The benefit will be available to all women and transgender persons irrespective of age, income or financial background.
- Priyadarshini was one of the five "Indira Guarantees" promised by the ruling government during the Assembly election ....
