‘Mahe’ - India’s First Indigenous Anti-Submarine Vessel
On 23rd October 2025, Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) delivered Mahe, the first in a series of eight Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Crafts (ASW SWC), to the Indian Navy — marking a major stride in India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision for self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
