Maharaja Bijli Pasi
- On 25th December 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Maharaja Bijli Pasi on his birth anniversary during the inauguration of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal.
- Maharaja Bijli Pasi ruled mainly over present-day Lucknow and nearby areas of Uttar Pradesh, including the region around present-day Bijnor and about 12 forts.
- He is considered a contemporary of Prithviraj Chauhan (around the 12th century).
- The Maharaja Bijli Pasi Fort and a grand memorial park in Lucknow honour his legacy and serve as major tourism and cultural centres.
