  • On 25th December 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Maharaja Bijli Pasi on his birth anniversary during the inauguration of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal.
  • Maharaja Bijli Pasi ruled mainly over present-day Lucknow and nearby areas of Uttar Pradesh, including the region around present-day Bijnor and about 12 forts.
  • He is considered a contemporary of Prithviraj Chauhan (around the 12th century).
