ASTR for Telecom SIM Subscriber Verification
Recently, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) developed a tool called Artificial Intelligence and Facial Recognition powered Solution for Telecom SIM Subscriber Verification (ASTR).
This tool has the potential to bring down cyber fraud by detecting and blocking possible fraudulent mobile connections, thereby improving overall security.
