What is HawkEye 360?
- HawkEye 360 is a U.S.-based geospatial analytics company headquartered in Herndon, Virginia.
- It operates a constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites that detect, geolocate, and analyze radio frequency (RF) signals from space.
What does it do?
- Detects RF signals (like radar, VHF, satellite phones, etc.) from ships, aircraft, and ground-based systems.
- Works in clusters of three satellites to triangulate and map RF activity with high precision.
