QpiAI-Indus Quantum Computer
On 14th April 2025, QpiAI, one of eight startups selected under India’s National Quantum Mission (NQM), announced the launch of ‘QpiAI-Indus,’ a 25-qubit superconducting quantum computer on World Quantum Day 2025.
- QpiAI-Indus is India's first full-stack quantum computing system, integrating quantum processors, scalable control, AI-enhanced software, and Quantum-HPC platforms for hybrid computing.
- The launch marks a major step in advancing quantum innovation across sectors like life sciences, drug discovery, mobility, sustainability, and climate action.
- QpiAI, bootstrapped in 2019, has filed 11 patents and generates around Rs 1 million annually, supported by funding from SIDBI.
