SpaceX Launches Historic Fram2 Mission
On 31st March 2025, SpaceX launched its sixth private astronaut mission—Fram2—from the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
- The mission includes four commercial astronauts led by a crypto entrepreneur and is the first human spaceflight to orbit Earth from pole to pole.
Mission Overview
- Fram2 is a private astronaut mission using SpaceX’s reusable Crew Dragon spacecraft.
- It is the 16th crewed mission overall for the Dragon capsule, developed with NASA funding.
- The spacecraft will follow a polar orbit, a path never before taken by humans.
- The crew will conduct 22 experiments on muscle mass, skeletal health, mental well-being, and biological growth in microgravity.
