Indian Navy Inducts ‘Sanshodhak’
On 30th March 2026, the Indian Navy received Sanshodhak, the fourth and final Survey Vessel (Large) built under the SVL project by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd.

- Built indigenously at GRSE, Kolkata.

- Hydrographic surveys in coastal and deep waters.
- Mapping harbour approaches and navigation routes.
- Collection of oceanographic and geophysical data.

- Displacement: ~3,400 tonnes.
