OECD‑FAO Agricultural Outlook 2025‑2034
On 15th July 205, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) released the Agricultural Outlook 2025-2034 report.
- The report provides a comprehensive assessment of the ten-year prospects for agricultural commodity and fish markets at national, regional and global levels.
Major Findings
Rising Incomes, Shifting Diets
- Increasing incomes, especially in middle-income countries, are expected to drive a 6% rise in daily per capita caloric intake from animal-based foods (meat, dairy, fish, etc.) over the next decade.
