National Military Drone Technology Hub at IIT Kanpur

Recently, the Ministry of Defence has approved, in principle, the establishment of a Rs.500 crore National Military Drone Technology Hub at IIT Kanpur to promote the design, testing, and certification of military drones and counter-drone technologies.

  • The proposal has been prepared by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), the nodal agency for the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC).
