VB-GRAM-G and PMFBY Schemes

On 8th June 2026, the Bihar Cabinet approved the implementation of the VB-GRAM-G scheme and the continued rollout of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) to strengthen rural development and agricultural resilience.

  • VB-GRAM-G focuses on holistic rural development through improvements in village infrastructure, governance and livelihood opportunities.
